You ask why I do these crazy things to myself? Why I can tolerate the vile substances I expose my body to, though knowing perfectly well the macabre consequences that follow?

It's the basic need to feel alive. To know that I can't be in control all the time. The only way I know that I can still get out of my routines and still basically, live. So I guess this is like a beautiful sadness.
