hello~
today's sabbatical was TIRING. went around certain parts of Singapore.. First to asian civilisation museum.. then to singapore river.. to cavenagh bridge.. then to parliament courts, old parliament house.. supreme courts, the treasury.. central fire station.. to ROM(dont know what for).. to fort canning park. to this cemetary.. (where the average life span of the europeans were only 20+.. wierd right.. there were only european names.. no chinese and other races at all..) to the fort atop fort canning.. down sally's port.. and off in the bus.. quite alot of walking yearh? so we ended up at little india.. HAD LUNCH.. indian food! =) ate this onion rawa masala something something.. not bad.. =) quite messy cos have to eat with hands.. haha.. then 5 of us ordered one more dish where we shared! haha.. nice nice nice.. then walk around little india.. looking at stuffs.. taking pictures... not bad.. quite nice.. then took bus to BEACH ROAD.. man.. do i have memories on that whole stretch of road... i guess only a few will know what i'm talking about.. but still.. i missed that looooong stretch of road.. walked up and down it for SO MANY TIMES! (if only the good times were back) well.. walked over to kampong glam.. (not sure if we did.. but we arrived at the sultan's mosque anyway..) bought this bracelet thing with zijia! very niceee.. somemore 2 bucks only.. haha.. quite pretty! =) then i had to go to the bathroom.. so had to take off shoes and socks.. went in to the toilet in the mosque.. well there wasnt any else.. then have to go in barefooted.. but it was seriously quite clean.. then have to wear the clogs that i cant even balance on... but it was okay i guess.. then off we go again! to chinatown.. well i have to say.. it really feels more "at home" at chinatown.. not to be racist but i guess i'm more used to my own culture.. the familiar smell of bagua.. =) but in the end never eat.. haha.. okayy went to chinatown heritage center... quite cool! haha.. real too.. =) nice experience afterall.. so now here i am.. AT HOME! home is still the BEST.. was soooo tired can... going to bathe le.. so that's about all... =)
sis at hongkong.. so sad.. hope she comes back soon! =)
